National Apprenticeship Week 2020

Over the last 5 years, Just 1 Source has presented staff with the opportunity to undertake various apprenticeships, to help support their role in-house and to encourage both personal and professional development.

Max:

Max joined Just 1 Source as a Sales and Customer Support Apprentice in 2015, undertaking training with YH Training. Max was promoted within his apprenticeship and kept on board as a Sales Executive.

During Max’s training, Max supported various departments within the business, working closely with Ron who controlled Marketing at the time as this was a field that he was most passionate about.

In 2017, Ron took his well-earned retirement and subsequently, Max inherited many of the tasks which Ron had performed; with Max completing them amongst his sales responsibilities.

At our 2019 Strategy Meeting, it was decided that Max was to take a more focused marketing role, passing his sales duties on to other colleagues within the team. It was at this time that we enrolled Max into a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship with Estio Training. Max is now ¾ of the way through his apprenticeship, having completed numerous exams on various aspects of Marketing, and is now excelling within his role, helping to increase Just 1 Source’s online presence and customer engagement. We wish Max the best in the completion of his apprenticeship and have every faith in his ability to succeed.

Kirsty:

Kirsty joined the Just 1 Source team in 2017, also as a Sales and Customer Support Apprentice, undertaking training with 3AAA. Similarly, to Max, Kirsty was also promoted within her apprenticeship to a Sales Executive, and also remains a valued member of the team today.

Kirsty has excelled in her role throughout the years, with 2020 seeing another promotion – this time to Sales Office Manager!

Aly:

Aly is the latest apprentice to join the team, again, as a Sales and Customer Support Apprentice, undertaking training with CMS Training. Aly joined in May 2019 and is already well on the way to completing her apprenticeship, which is scheduled to finish in September this year.

Aly has settled in well and fits the Just 1 Source family outfit. Aly is often the first person you will speak to if contacting the office, and she would be more than happy to assist with any enquiries you may have.

These success stories show Just 1 Source’s commitment to our staff, and our willingness to support internal progression routes. We also hold customers closely in mind, ensuring that staff are correctly trained to offer the highest levels of service possible.
